Julie Baastrup
Julie Baastrup is a Danish actress who has trained in London, and currently at Panorama Academy in Copenhagen. She has played a wide range of characters, leads and supporting roles, in various shortfilms, web-series as well as a music video. Most recently, she has been cast in an upcoming international web-series, playing a Scottish climate-activist and student. Julie has a good ear for accents and dialects, a youthful look, and an ability to portray complex and flawed characters. She has the looks of a young Julia Roberts and a quirkiness like Emma Stone. Julie shows the skills required to take on roles in period- and coming-of-age dramas, as well as comedies. Particularly, she shows the ability to undertake darker characters, making her soft features deceive the viewer. Besides her film and tv credits, she has also done theatre in London.
