Victoria Melendez Cruz

Victoria Melendez Cruz

Victoria was born a deeply feeling, creative soul with an urge to tell stories and explore life’s depths through art. Fascinated by the ‘dark side’ of human nature, she loves delving into life’s ‘skeletons in the closet.’ Her writing, often depicting fragmented characters that portray the complexity of being human, has been published in several magazines, including Vogue Scandinavia.

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in art history, Victoria has written several projects exploring the psychological link between art and human nature, such as the myth of Pandora and the femme fatale archetype. From a young age, she felt a connection with the camera and has worked in the modeling industry for seven years. This experience taught her to collaborate with different people on expressing shared ideas and molding herself into various characters for specific aesthetic outcomes.

Victoria draws inspiration from people’s stories and diverse cultures, leading her on rich and insightful travels throughout her life. Fluent in English from a young age, she speaks it as if it were her mother tongue.
