Panorama Academy’s acting programs sets you up for a career in acting. Our training, the knowledge, and the culture will provide you with of what it takes to make it in life – and the world of acting if you are willing to evolve, work hard, and be creative and kind.
Talent will only get you to a certain point – the right tools and work ethic allow you to go on to the next level. Therefore, we focus – together. Keeping in mind that success isn’t everything in this world. Being a happy, balanced, successful person is even more valuable.
During your training you will be taught “Personal Leadership” and given the tools to be more of the person you are meant to become.
These are our focus areas:
The Chubbuck Technique
As the first academy in Europe, our students are coached and taught by certified acting teachers of ‘The Chubbuck Technique’.
The 12-Step Acting Technique invented by esteemed American acting coach Ivana Chubbuck is instrumental to individual in-depth growth. This focus area trains in-depth character work, self-taping, and on-screen acting. We maintain the high quality of training that matches the standards of the Ivana Chubbuck Studio in Los Angeles.
Since our first encounter with Ivana in the late 90’s at her studio in L.A., we’ve been fans of her powerful guidance. Her bestselling book ‘The Power of the Actor’, is the foundation of our teaching and training with its dynamic and effective 12 step technique’.
Multiple actors have achieved award-winning success by using Ivana’s technique, and many are now able to create characters that are so dynamic and interesting that we’ve encountered directors/producers deciding to elevate characters from supporting roles to series regulars, all based on the actor’s performances when using The Chubbuck Technique.
Acting On Screen
This focus area is the collaboration between you as an actor, the camera D.O.P (Director of Photography), and the director, designed to give you the opportunity to work with and in front of the camera and to learn all the basic industry ‘know-hows’. During your training at Panorama Academy, you will get the opportunity to work closely with an award-winning D.O.P.
We will prepare you as an actor with specific, utilizable tools that are advantageous to have before you book your first professional job or give the actors who’ve been on a set before the opportunity to better themselves with effective and powerful tools in front of the camera.
A cornerstone of Acting on Screen is for you to practice self-evaluation and learn how to receive constructive feedback and learn the importance of teamwork. We expect you to be ready to embrace challenges with open arms – and to come out of your comfort zone.
Casting and Selftaping
This focus area is the collaboration between you as an actor, the camera D.O.P (Director of Photography), and the director, designed to give you the opportunity to work with and in front of the camera and to learn all the basic industry ‘know-hows’. During your training at Panorama Academy, you will get the opportunity to work closely with an award-winning D.O.P.

Build Your Package
This focus area is on one of the most important yet underrated aspects of becoming a professional actor: How do you introduce your talent and the essence of all that is you to the key people in the industry?
Your package is a unique communication and networking tool. With this, you can showcase your talent, potential and your personality. We will provide you with professional headshots via a professional photographer in a studio. Next to your professional headshots, you will work on how to set up your acting CV, the content of your bio, and more.
After you’ve built your package, you’ll be ready to start networking on a professional level and seek those invitations to do self-tapes and potential castings.
Stunt, Movement, and Meditation
This focus area will introduce you to the world of stage stunts, combat, dance, and body awareness. A cornerstone of this course is for you to get comfortable with and aware of your body and will provide you with exercises on how to deal with stress and rejections and how to strengthen your self-worth.
Our experienced professional dance teacher will give you hands-on experience with choreography and provide you with awareness-raising exercises and techniques which both are applicable to screen and stage.
Stunt and Movement will teach you to understand basic movement techniques and the fundamentals of stage fighting which are both handy on-set. You’ll get familiarized with your body work outside of your comfort zone.
We will practice meditation with you, and we recommend that you practice a minimum of 7 effective minutes, every day, to find peace and balance during a busy day, and week schedule. Stop punishing yourself, welcome rejections as learning processes, and view them as important experiences.
Voice and Dialect

We focus on strategy and the concepts behind building a strong digital brand as well as practical steps. We will look at the major social media platforms and how you can utilize each different platform to your own advantage. We will talk about algorithms and the metrics behind social media.
This class will be practical, and we will have assignments that focus on doing rather than thinking. This is all about getting you started to build your digital brand and make more content that gets you to work as well as building your brand.
Create Your Showreel
In this focus area, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to craft your very own personalized showreel. Through this journey, you’ll delve into the art of editing using industry-standard software such as DaVinci Resolve. This showreel will beautifully showcase your creative prowess and growth, drawing from the collection of compelling short films and scene work you’ve previously crafted.
As you edit your showreel, you’ll not only upgrade your editing skills but also discover new ways to captivate casting directors and directors. Get ready to unveil a showreel that shines as a beacon of your artistic journey and future aspirations.
Social Media and Networking
This focus area will help you understand the world of digital brand building and how to better enhance and grow your social media brand.

Production
Throughout the education, Panorama Academy actors will get the opportunity to produce in-house projects in collaboration with Panorama Production, such as our short film series: Interactions, and Credits.
This focus area will see you and your fellow students collaborate and learn-by-doing. You will learn the entire artistic process from idea development, character building, scriptwriting, and staging – and finally produce a series of three-minute films with reading tests, choice of genre, and cinematic style.
Throughout the process, you will be working and learning not just as an actor but with all facets of being a creator, which ultimately will give you a better understanding of the artistic process.
